Dr. Spencer Ng is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Pathology at Washington University School of Medicine. He attended McGill University as an undergraduate and went onto Emory University where he received his MD degree and obtained a PhD in Immunology, where his dissertation focused on methods to improve immune-based therapies against melanoma. He completed his dermatology residency at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University and served as chief resident. He also spent an additional year on faculty conducting research on the molecular genomics of cutaneous lymphomas funded by the Dermatology Foundation. He most recently completed his dermatopathology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York before joining the faculty of the Dermatopathology Center in 2024.

As a dermatologist and dermatopathologist, Dr. Ng is interested in all aspects of complex medical dermatology with a particular clinical focus in oncodermatology. He is looking forward to building a subspecialty clinic providing dermatologic care to cancer patients. He is also interested in cutaneous lymphomas and understanding how dysregulation of the immune system within the skin contributes to dermatologic disease.
