Dr. Ilana Rosman is a Professor of Dermatology and Pathology at Washington University School of Medicine. She graduated from Brown University and earned her medical degree at Washington University. Following dermatology residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, she completed a dermatopathology fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Rosman is the Director of the Washington University Dermatopathology Center. She is also Director of the Dermatology Residency Program.

Having trained in both dermatology and dermatopathology, Dr. Rosman is particularly interested in medical dermatology cases that require correlation of clinical and histologic findings to arrive at the correct diagnosis. She also has an interest in cutaneous oncology and inflammatory diseases of the skin, hair and nail, and pediatric dermatopathology.

Dr. Rosman is an enthusiastic teacher and mentor and enjoys sharing her passion for dermatology and dermatopathology with medical students, residents and fellows. In addition to her interest in undergraduate and graduate medical education, she is particularly focused on equity and sustainability in resident selection, and is leading a national effort through the Association of Professors of Dermatology to improve the residency application process.
